Don’t worry I will also speak to pharmacist.

My girl is 15 months and has started getting horrible allergy symptoms at night. I think it’s cat fur coming up from the heating being on and general cat presence.

I will ban the cats from the room and have made sure she has clean bedding but is it safe to give her the infant Piriton? For some reason I thought it was 2+ years.

PiritON syrup (chlorphenamine) is sold as 1+ iirc (BNF says 1mg twice daily for age 1-23months).

PiritEZE is cetirizine and is age 2+.

Piriton and any others with the same active ingredient are prescription only under 1 and over the counter over 1

Any antihistamines with loratadine as the active ingredient are over 2.
