Hi there, just some advice on hand, foot and mouth for those who’ve experienced it.
I have 2 year old and I’m pregnant. I’ve agreed to look after my friends child whilst she needs to work for 1 day but her LO has come up with some spots around her mouth/bottom that came up 3 days ago and there’s been HFM at their nursery. No temp, no ulcers and apparently is their normal self. Been told she won’t be contagious anymore it would have been before the spots came up.
Mine hasn’t had it yet so not got much experience with it. Does that sound right? Or is this just the beginning and we should stay clear. Don’t want to let my friend down but we’ve had enough of sickness the last month lol.
NHS said can spread 5 days after symptoms but then that the spots is the 2nd stage. They’ve not had any of the other symptoms apparently
