Hi I've received my 5 year olds blood test results today and there is a comment from the laboratory that I'm unsure of what it means. I know we are not qualified to make assumptions but could any one give a rough idea what this could mean please. TIA

It means it’s probably normal.

Probably the number for ALP is higher than typical range for adults - because this is related to bone turnover, the lab are commenting that this may be completely normal in a growing child.
