Early puberty

Does anyone have any experience of early puberty? My daughter is 7 and I’ve noticed a few pubic hairs, her armpits can be a little smelly occasionally. She gets the occasional spot on her face and recently she has said one of her nipples hurts, feels like a bud underneath. We are being referred to a specialist and having bloods taken friday. Just wondered if anyone is going through similar? 7 seems so young to be going through this 😬I was around 14/15 when my periods started, although not assuming she will be exactly like me. Her mood swings are like a teenager too!

If she doesn't have breast bud growth or onset of periods, "isolated adrenarche" is more likely than true puberty and doesn't need anything specific other than watching and waiting. The blood tests are very relatable for detecting if true puberty has started or not.

Thank you. You can’t see the breast bud, she’s just aware it doesn’t feel quite right so whether it’s starting to grow who knows. Hopefully the bloods will show us what’s going on
