Lump in armpit

My 8 year old daughter has had a lump in her armpit for over 2 weeks now. It’s hard and fixed under the skin- no redness or signs of a cyst but it is itchy. I have an appointment booked with the doctor but has anyone experienced this with their child?

My son has similar he has had 2 ultra sounds on the lump and its just an enlarged lymph node, no real concerns - Just get GP to refer for bloods and scan just in case.

Hi op - yep I had experience with this with my DC. He had a men B jab which triggered an enlarged lymph node. Has your child had a vaccine in that arm?
