Hello, my 5 year old has been off school for nearly a week now with chicken pox. It is very mild thankfully and only a handful of spots & no other symptoms. She (as am I) are very fed up as she can’t go back to school until the spots have all crusted over. Most of them have scabs on so I presume one they all have scabs she can go back? Or do we have to wait for them to fall off? How long were your little ones of school for when they had it? TIA

Mine were off for about a week. The scabs don't have to have fallen off. Once they scab over they are no longer contagious
