3 month old- formula fed kendamil first infant organic
Had diarrhoea for 5 days going 7+ times a day dark yellow colour, mucus and more runny.
Took to doctors on day 2 said could be start of viral infection. He has slight pain in tummy and is passing wind more. Diarrhoea worse after his feed But has no other symptoms, no temperature, no more sick than usual and fine within himself.
Normally perfect healthy and goes for a poo normally once a day.
Any advice would be really greatful! Thank you in advance!!!

Has he always been on Kendamil? As my DS had similar nappies. I changed his milk to Hipp and his nappies are normal now.

Thanks for replying! He has but I’m starting to wonder if it is maybe is the formula as diarrhoea comes just after he’s eaten and has no other symptoms!

My DS had nappies just like those for weeks, we even tried him on hydrolysed formula for suspect CMPA but he refused to drink it. In desperation I bought some HIPP and he really turned a corner. It might be worth trying.

Commenting as feel like I’m in the exact same situation with my 4 month old. Weird that it’s just started randomly. Sorry not much help

@Peachki are you using Kendamil? I think it started about 3 or 4 months with my baby as well. It could also be teething at 4 months, have you got a girl?

We are using cow & gate. We do think he is teething at the min tbh but online it says diarrhea isn’t linked to teething but then I’ve also read conflicting things saying teething can be linked to diarrhea so idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

My health visitor did say that teething can cause diarrhoea because they’re more dribbly which can upset their stomach. Swapping milk helped my DS loads though.
