Many of you may already know this but I was surprised to hear today, while chatting to the nurse during my pap smear (always fun), that apparently the HPV vaccine for boys is not just about protecting their sexual partners but also because quite a few mouth/throat cancers are being found in boys as a result of hpv passed on from.oral sex?!

Apparently it's also likely that women who have had hpv vaccine will most likely only need 2 pap smears over their lifetime!!!! A huge win right there!!!

Makes sense.

I'm sure it also protects against some cancers of the penis and anus.
