Chamomile lotion 13 months old

Hi All,

I have a 13 month old and recently he has got these red bumps small ones rash like on his chest back and some on legs too and it's really itchy for him.

I went pharmacy today boots one and they advised chamomile lotion.

I thought it's a pharmacist giving it so they must know what's right so didn't ask if it's okay for 13 month old. However, Google saying otherwise or mixed information that it's apparently safe only 2 years and older.

Can someone please advice if you've given it to your LO younger because I'm so confused now

Did they mean calamine lotion?

Calamine lotion is the pink stuff for chicken pox and other itches, not Chamomile.

It's routinely advised for over 2s and for babies on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.

come on now we all knew what she meant. It's funny though! It reminds me when my dd said tequila mockingbird 😂

We knew what they meant - but the OP clearly didn't.

Looool guys this made me chuckle!

I know what it is, I've used it since I was a child when we went back home and I had mosquito bites, it's the pink lotion with a nice smell, well I like it haha. But the thing is I could neverrrr pronounce it correctly because I always call it chamomile lotion😭😭😭I like chamome tea too haha. These two words are too similar for me. But thank you for the responses I was just confused as Google was contradicting saying it's only for ages 2 plus. I have been using aveeno baby though which is seeming to work better because it keeps his skin moisturised, calamine is quite drying.
