Bright green vomit - 2 year old

Hi All,

My little one hasn't been ill since he was 3 months old, he turned 2 in September and is currently very unwell so I feel a little clueless. I have called 111, they advised me to just keep him at home, keep an eye on his temperature etc and to call them back if symptoms worsen. I am a bit stuck on what to do, his temperature has come down from yesterday, he was 39 which is now at 37, the Calpol seems to be doing its job well, however he isn't drinking much water, hasn't eaten since yesterday morning and at about midday today he was sick green vomit (I think this is mucus). Is this expected to happen? He is very chesty and has a really chesty cough! It just threw me off a bit and I am unsure if this is classed as a worsening symptom of if him vomiting green mucus is a good thing and his body is clearing it out.
Any advice on what I should do? Have just moved into a new area (only been here a week) and he isn't registered with a GP, I called them this morning and I need to register him but they couldn't promise me an emergency appointment for tomorrow. Terrible really considering his age!

Any tips, advice or what you would do in this situation would really help me. Thank you! X

Sounds like bile if he hasn't eaten since yesterday. Sorry he's so poorly x

Sounds like bile mixed with mucous as he hasn't eaten and is chesty. It really is disgusting that they can't promise an appointment for a 2 year old. I had similar with my just turned 2 year old recently and it's awful how they don't seem to care that it's a baby you're trying to get an appointment for. Hope he starts feeling better soon
