I think DD has ADHD

She's 7 and doing okay in school. The problem is that she gets distracted very easily, forgets a lot, finds homework exhausting, loses her train of thought often, and fidgets all the time when she explains something.

My ex has some of these symptoms but hasn't been diagnosed and refuses to see a specialist.

Any help greatly appreciated.

🙏

The only way to be sure is get her on a wait list either nhs or privately.

Then you decide if you want to put her on meds if it's a yes.

My dd didn't suit meds and she now copes without. She gets extra time in exams and a quiet room etc.

As soon as you know apply for a ehcp at school.
