Hiya
quick question please my 21 M seems to pull faces every time she eats or tries new food . It is hard to explain but even with familiar food sometimes she looks as if she had a sour taste sort of face . She eats everything we give her regardless of the brand . She has homemade meatballs in tomato sauce with basil , pesto , spinach and Brie sauce, courgettes , bolognese, burgers , not keen on eggs but eats them , fish cakes , tuna etc . She communicates really well with over 100 words using them in the right context. She answer simple questions like “ do you want milk “ what do you want to watch ? She points , waves and claps . She recognises familiar faces in pictures and engages with strangers . My concern is that she has some sensory issues but i would have thought that if she had any she wouldn’t eat such a variety of food ?? No probs with tags , clothes , dirt she doesn’t mind getting wet or dirty diapers , having her hair brushed . I have no clue as to why she pulls a face at food .

She also has a high palate and a tongue tie x not sure if related to her problem though
