Chicken pox on foot

My daughter has chicken pox on her foot (I’m sure they’re CP and not HFM as she caught them off her brother and has had other spots) all other spots have now scabbed except those on her foot - we are now day 9. I rang GP who said they’re still contagious and has prescribed antibiotic cream and said to just wait them out. Will they ever scab? How long will it take!?

I'm sure I've read there's little chance of transmitting chickenpox after the 5th day of the spots appearing. I didn't think CP usually appeared on the soles of the feet though.
