11 month old projectile vomiting

My 11 month old daughter was absolutely fine all day yesterday, eating and drinking as normal. When we gave her her bedtime bottle at 7pm she immediately threw up everywhere. She projectile vomited 4 or 5 times, it seemed like she emptied the entire contents of her stomach.

Immediately after she seemed fine, happy and smiling. We kept her up for a couple of hours then gave her some more milk which she drank and went to sleep. I thought it was strange but maybe something just hadn't sat right.

She woke up this morning, absolutely fine. Eating and drinking as normal again, no sick. Then again, she's had her bedtime bottle at 7pm and projectile vomited again.

I'm a bit worried now. Will call GP first thing tomorrow but what could it be? I don't see how it could be a bug or food poisoning as it's only happening with her last bottle and she's keeping everything down all day. She seems perfectly happy and well in herself.

This happened with my son when I was living in France. It's really alarming. I called a doctor out and he recommended just giving small sips of sugary Coca-Cola. He was fine after a day but I would definitely get the doctor to check your daughter.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it is alarming, especially the amount of it! She's only tiny!

Hoping to get a doctors appointment first thing.
