Any ideas?

I'm wondering if anyone can help? My daughter (aged 10) has a really nasty and sore rash on her inner thigh. It's been like this for some weeks- she's otherwise fit and well. We've tried barrier type creams and the GP prescribed a steroid cream which has achieved nothing at all. She swims lots and this is massively impacting her activities. Any ideas what it might be and what the solution could be? The GP was pretty useless and she's in pain.

Folliculitis? Have you tried an antifungal cream at all?
