Baby reflux

Hi,
My baby is 2 months old and has been having reflux and the health visitor just wants to put him on omeprazole but I'm really not keen as it's not licensed for use on children and I believe it can affect their absorption of minerals and nutrients.
I've gone dairy free and this seems to have helped a little bit, but wondering if there is any tips out there that might help deal with the reflux!
I'm not sure if my baby has a tongue tie and if this would impact the reflux at all? See photo

My 10 week old has reflux, she was prescribed infant gaviscon which we have been trying for a couple of weeks. No side effects other than really thick poo. She is formula fed though. The gaviscon doesn’t have any nasties in, just stuff to thicken the milk in the stomach to reduce the chance of it coming back up. She has been less uncomfortable with it so may be worth a try?

Unfortunately the doctor won't prescribe him gaviscon as he is also struggling with constipation! X
