Elevated CK Levels - Desperately Worried

From a very teary and anxious Mum...

Has anyone's child had elevated CK blood markers and it turned out to be nothing?...

My son has ASD and they screened his blood and did the standard genetic testing. Genetic came back clear but he has elevated CK (1,200) on both he original and repeat bloods. We've been referred to a neurologist at Preston. He has no physical symptoms that I am aware of and he is a strong and active boy with no gross motor delay (although delayed in other areas such as social and communication due to ASD, but is progressing).

I've googled it and I know I shouldn't have but I'm going out of my mind after reading about all the horrific diseases it can indicate. He was very distressed and tense during the blood tests but I was told this wouldn't affect the CK marker.

I'm beside myself with worry. If anyone has any relevant experience I would be greatful to hear it. Thank you x

I've just seen your message - I'm really sorry it went unanswered. How is your son?
