Ds is 6 and around a year ago we had to remove his kinetic sand from him as he was eating it, not large amounts but enough for us to notice. We thought that he had stopped when we took it away but today he came out of school covered in mud. Asked him what he had been doing and he said he had been eating the mud at school and putting small stones in his mouth.

I'm not sure if it's a one off at school or not he says he doesn't remember so I'd guess not.

Has anyone any experience with Pica? Anything I can do to not having him eating stuff he shouldn't? I'm going to get him in the doctors when I can for a blood test to make sure all his levels are ok and I've emailed school to see if they have seen anything but don't know how to help him!
