My 21 month old has HFM. She will only nap on me … is this common?! Nighttime she sleeps in her cot but naps I can’t get her down! She hysterically cries so I hold her for naps.
will she go back to having naps in her cot when she’s better or will she get used to this and want to sleep in my arms from now on …

any tips / help / advice I’d really appreciate!! We are on day 7!

When they're ill they want you. Roll with it, amd thing's get better again when they're less ill. Contact napping is often comfier for them if things feels achey, and it helps regulate their temperature.

I caught HFM when my daughter got it last, and it really was beastly. Definitely as nasty as COVID or flu.
