When does babies fontanelle fuse?

My baby is 3 months her soft soft on the top of her head is not as prominent anymore. Is that normal at this age? I can slightly feel it if I really try and look for it but it's not like how it used to be

My 3rd DD only had a small one to begin with and it was almost totally closed up by 3 months. GP noticed it when we were there about a different thing and referred us to the hospital just to check but the pediatrician said it was completely normal. He said so long as the head is a normal shape it’s ok and he was feeling for some sort of ridges?? Anyway he said the range for it closing up was I think 3-18 months and someone has to be the 3 month end!!
