We’re at our wits end now - for at least 8 weeks now we’ve been battling with our wee boy to finish his bottles, we’re lucky if he’ll take 3-4oz from his bottles each feed. However he tends to finish his entire bedtime bottle and the bottle during the night with zero issues so we don’t know what’s going on throughout the day.
we’ve been prescribed carobel and the first 3 days it was going amazing and he finished every bottle but now we’re back to square one - in fact I’d say we’re worse than before and he goes bonkers after 2oz and throws himself away from the bottle and screams when I try and go near him with it. They’re also considering CMPA but he’s had yoghurt and cheese with no issues and we tried the Althera milk which he point blank refused to drink for us. We just don’t know what to do now!!

If weaning is going well, putting on weight well, could offer in sippy cup? Some just don't like taste. Make sure food made up with some milk.

We had the same problem. The health visitor just recommended that we try to put the daily allowance of milk into his food instead eg rice pudding, cereal etc.

Health visitor was out yesterday and suggested doing that.. tbh it’s his bedtime bottle that frustrates me the most as that’s the one that usually helps him nod off and we’re now lucky if he’ll even take 2oz from it so we’re in and out loads during the night but he’ll destroy a 5oz bottle in the middle of the night.. just doesn’t make sense!

He's just not hungry for his bedtime bottle.

Maybe try moving dinner to an earlier time.
