My 4 year olds a bit poorly atm. We all have some horrendous cold/flu, he is holding his head saying it’s so sore. He’s had calpol and ibuprofen, is there anything else I can do to help him? I feel so bad!

Is he drinking enough? Will a cool flannel help soothe his head? Being bunged up can make your head sore, have you tried one of those calpol plug in things?

There;s these headache patches you can get, I use them for migraines but there are childrens versions too. Also, Vicks on the temples is good!

Is he still holding his head despite having paracetamol and ibuprofen?

Thanks all. He did settle after an hour so think that was the paracetamol and ibuprofen kicking in. I have a calpol plug in for tonight, forgot about those! I will try the vicks on temple later on.
