DS age 7 in the past month has had a 5 day course of flucloxacillin for impetigo, which returned shortly afterwards so had a 10 day course. This finished a few days ago and I'm pretty sure some new patches are developing! I've started to apply fucidin to them and I will of course go back to the GP if they do progress but I'm tearing my hair out. I bleached the house to within an inch of it's life and boil washed his soft toys, bedding and towels every day. What else can be done??? A different antibiotic? Would more antibiotics harm him?
