Confused about baby nursery

Hi,

I do not know if this is the right topic/group to ask but as a ftm I was trying to be cautious of what i buy. So for the nursery I bought ikea furniture which I assumed was not that harmful. However i recently found out that the dresser koppang 3 chest drawer that i bougt was made out of particleboard which means pressed wood and apparently uses glue that emits formaldehyde. As it is toxic should i be changing the dresser does it really have that much impact on health in this instance?
i know that it is naturally occurring substance but would love any experts (maybe chemists) commenting on this situation. I am concerned for my baby and the clothes that she has been wearing since it was stored in this drawer.

on google it says that ikea furniture is safe that particleboard may contain formaldehyde but does not say how much.

Apologies if this is the wrong thread.

thank you

You overthink this sorry.

It would have to pass uk safety laws so I'd assume it's as safe as any other furnishings you intend to use

It’s fine OP. Air out the room for a few minutes every day and stop worrying about it.

You’re worrying unnecessarily. Consider if you need some help for your anxiety; it’s not good for your child.
