Baby’s eyelid occasionally turning in

My 7 month old is occasionally waking up from sleep with his bottom eyelid on his right eye turned inwards 😟
he doesn’t seem bothered but I know this can’t be good for his eye!
I notice it and it pulls back out easily enough but do I need to see GP? Pharmacist? Is there anything I can do to help it? Will it get better by itself???
any advice gratefully received 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ds used to get this, normally when he'd had a cry and rubbed his eyes. He'd then screw his eyes shut as the eye lashes were pricking his eye, and I'd have to distract him to get him to open his eye, when it'd pop back into place.

It's not happened since he was about 15 months old and he's 17yo now, so I wouldn't worry.

Did you find out anything more of this? My 5 month old has had something similar happen to his left eye twice now and slightly worried. Will ring the GP in the morning!

This still happens to me age 35 if I rub my eyes especially if I’ve been crying. I just ooo it back out again
