Hi, my child has chicken pox, he has so many spots that have filled with pus. This is just one example. We got an emergency appointment today with GP, told me this is normal. I'm not convinced this is normal and really want a second opinion. So hopefully I can be seen again. I'm sure this is the start of an infection as these have already burst and now they are pus filled. If anyone could put my mind at ease if I could be overthinking or does this look worrying

sadly looks typical to me, but of course it's only one tiny section of what is a much bigger body.
if your gut instinct says second opinion then follow that, better safe then sorry.

No, that looks fine from the picture

Looks fine should dry out in day or 2 and just be a scab.

Looks like standard chicken pox to me. They can look really shocking and disgusting.
Calamine should help or even Sudocrem
i had some cream years ago from Napiers that was very good and will edit once I’ve found it online.

Looks totally normal, and really not that numerous as chicken pox goes.

Make sure you tell the receptionist when you arrive and wait in the car, so you're not infecting the waiting room.
