Hip dysplasia - toddler

My 18m old has just been diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Likely to need surgery. Can anyone who has been in a similar position share their experience of this? Would appreciate insights.

Hi, my daughter (now 16) had surgery at aged 2.5. She had bilateral hip dysplasia so had both hips operated. Happy to answer any questions! X
