Hello,

It's the first time we have ever had them on the family 🤢

My DD has/had them we gave her treatment on Wednesday evening, she has just had a poo and they are still on moving in her poo!

Is this normal is the treatment still working?

Everywhere says I can't give her more treatment until two weeks after the first ?

The house has been disinfected, bed sheets changed daily, pair of pants for the day, pair of pants for the night. Regular hand washing and nails with a brush !

Am I missing something?

It takes a little while. The medicine basically starves them to death and can take a few days. Sometimes I think they should bring back the brutal stuff. Even though I can still taste it 40 years on.

The medication prevents them from absorbing food so they starve to death so it isn’t instant. You need to treat everyone in the house not just DD.

We just had these too! Full family treated and took a good few days before I stopped seeing any for DD.

I did a baby wipe clean in the evening and morning, I read you can put a bit of Vaseline on the bum to stop them laying eggs at night.

We then did another treatment two weeks later for DD only as I saw one….touch wood not seen anything since!
