Braces Mistake

17 yo son just got braces. He was referred for an eye tooth that's high up but apart from that his teeth are fine. He's regretting it, hates the feel of them esp of the blockers and is worried it may cause damage to his healthy teeth. Anyone else felt this and reversed the procedure. Are you happy you did that? Any advice welcome.

It will take a while to get used to. Give it a few weeks and he will feel better. It isn't going to damage the other teeth, otherwise orthodontists wouldn't do it! If he refuses to have them now he will end up spending a fortune down the line for the treatment if he wants them fixed when older.
