7 month old sickness bug.. what should I give him?

It seems that my little one has caught the sickness bug that is going round nursery he's just started.

He has pretty much thrown up 80% of his milk feeds over the last 48 hours and also has a temperature. He's happy in himself and it's not coming out the other end.

My question is what should I be feeding him? I'm trying to get him to drink as much water as possible but he doesn't really take much so I'm resorting to ice cubes in those sucky moulds. The advice I read online seems to say continue with milk feeds as normal but surely milk on a bad tummy is the worst thing?' He's got a CMPA so is on pepti 1.

He's not too far along in his weaning journey so doesn't eat enough for me to just feed him plain solids

I'm really stressed out as his nappies are barely wet today 🥺

Bless him. Horrible when they're ill
Since he's cmpa his milk shouldn't hurt his tummy too much as usually its the dairy that's not great on a bad belly.
It's a while since I had a baby that young but I'd try diluted fruit juice or mushed up fruit ice lollies, smoothies, oat milk with some vanilla essence for a warm drink or weetabix with it
Bananas, toast
Probiotic drops and vitamin drops

@Keroppi it's really horrible and it sets my anxiety into a spiral when he has a temperature as he had meningitis at 4 weeks old. His temperature is currently 38.5 and he is dry heaving but nothing has come up tonight yet. I've given him just 2oz of milk.

My husband has just started throwing the world up too now, the joy!

At that age it’s so easy for them to get dehydrated @miniworry. If he’s not passing much urine then personally I’d get him checked.

@littleoldme3 I'm definitely going to call the gp first thing to get an appointment. I've been giving him 5ml syringes of dioralyte to try and get some hydration in. He's also just had another 3oz of milk so will see if that stays down.

We are on day 3 now so slightly worried the vomiting should have passed by now?! He's not had anything f the other end either, in fact he hasn't been for 5 days!
