Doctor or Dentist?

Just turned 3 year old DD has been ill for just over a week. Temp up and down (which has thankfully now subsided) and cough / snotty nose etc. Seems to be getting better and more energy etc.

However, she has several mouth ulcers which she will NOT leave alone. Try and get some pain relief gel on them but she will do everything possible to stop me as it stings. Keeps biting them and sticking fingers in mouth no matter how hard I try to stop her. For the past 2 days her breath has smelled absolutely revolting especially in the morning, I'm worried there's some sort of infection going on. Would this be a job for the dentist or doctor? If she hadn't been poorly I would say dentist but not sure if that's a factor?

Sorry your little one is feeling poorly. I would definitely recommend seeing the doctor just to be sure there is nothing else going on.
