My 5 year old daughter started having diarrhoea on Thursday and the sickness followed on Friday. By Saturday she was rolling around physically in pain she is so weak she is unable to even walk up the stairs or even move off the bed ive created downstairs for her. Her bum is so sore she cannot even wee on the toilet ill have to lay her in the bath. I took her to a and e on Saturday as the out of hours gp advised me too as she was really dehydrated. She came home and instantly threw up everywhere and continued all night again. Like I say she's so weak and lethargic lost so much weight tomorrow will be day 5. I've never experienced this illness before so I'm at a loss of what to do with her now. She hasnt ate anything since Thursday morning and she can barley hold water down she's constantly sick. Looking for advise please.

What did the hospital do/say when you were there? Did they advise on how to keep her hydrated at home and in what circumstances to go back?

Diarrhoea isn't a symptom of gastritis. What did they say at the hospital?
