10 year old with blocked nose

Is there anything I can give him? Everything seems to be for 16+. Poor boy is really suffering, he keeps blowing his nose but no relief and he can't sleep. I wish I could just get some kind of tiny Hoover and unblock his nose! I wish medised was still available.

Boots do a decongestant syrup for ages 6 plus, I find it pretty effective and good old Vicks Vapor rub.

Olbas Oil or Vicks in a bowl of hot water, tea towel over his head and breathe in the steam!

Then off to bed with Vicks on his chest and a few drops of Olbas Oil on a tissue next to his pillow.

Steam is the best one. Bowl of hot water with Vicks/olbas oil in is even better. I often put one in the room so the steam/scent fills the room (go easy on the olbas)
Vicks on chest (and on feet with socks on if he wants)
Raised pillow
Lie on side to help drainage
Nose spray - saline spray is prob best, can make your own at home
Plenty of water to drink to thin out mucus

With reference to the little hoover, mucus 'suckers' are available if needed

Or even a Neti pot if he's agreeable

Saline spray up his nose works a treat - they sell it in pharmacies. Sterimar is a good brand. Then a Calpol plug in too - I know they're for young children but they work on me as an adult. Also olbas oil on his pyjamas and pillow and on a cloth he can hold near him whilst he sleeps. A hot streamy shower will help too. I get congested almost constantly since I got Covid 2 years ago and suffer from near constant sinus problems too ever since. I've tried everything and those work best for me along with tablets which obviously he's not old enough for yet.

Airwaves extra strong chewing gum helps too and Vicks thing that goes up the nose to sniff
