I think my daughter may have mixed adhd

I suspect my daughter has mixed type adhd.
she masks at school, and when i spoke to her primary in the past they saw nothing.
She has just started secondary and the symptoms seem to be more obvious at home but again at school absolutely fine die to masking.
i don't think i would get anywhere with the nhs because school dont see it.
Would i have any luck going private as they still want the school to fill in a questionnaire.
I want to know if she does so that she knows and can understand herself and behaviours.
I feel lost where to go from here so any advice is really appreciated

What symptoms is she having at home?
it’s very difficult to ‘mask’ ADHD if significant.

I don't know if I agree. DS managed to get from 4 to 18 at school without them ever picking up on it. DD managed to get to 15 before anyone would listen.

Why do you think she's got ADHD? What's she like?

I am interested because I wonder about my child.
But I find it really hard to answer the questions

I’m not sure, I hope someone on here can help. But just wanted to say as a woman who has been diagnosed later in life please keep going with what you’re currently trying to sort. I wish I’d known from a young age that I have adhd it would have really helped.
You sound like a great mum. All the best x

If she has ADHD she has ADHD, just as if she doesn't have ADHD she doesn't have ADHD.

It does have to be present in 2 settings and ordinarily that would be home & school.

A proper private assessment will be conducted the same as any NHS one would be.

I'm sorry it's taken so long for you to get a diagnosis Flowers
