DS (2) has developed Chicken Pox :( we are currently at day 5 and he’s showing absolutely no signs of improvement.
we saw a doctor yesterday as he has a pretty nasty spot that turned out to be infected and he sent us home with some antibiotics that we started straight away. Since then he has developed a very sore throat, lost his voice and still very lethargic, however temp seems normal. doctor tried to check in his mouth for anything but he wouldn’t open his mouth (typical).
I am slightly worried that he has developed this sore throat this far down the line and wanted any advice on if this is normal or potentially something more serious, like I said he’s currently taking antibiotics so that should clear any secondary infection right? Not sure if I should see how he goes tomorrow and if no improvement take him back to GP Wednesday. Thanks!
