Hi all thank you for ready my post sorry if it’s long!

so I had a camhs assessment for my son last year due to what we thought was high anxiety we had the assessment they said it’s anxiety get him to talk about his feelings.
Then over the last year he has struggled an awful lot at school and with social situations the school said they believe he has ASD and told me to do right to choose I did and the place was no longer accepting referrals, School has been hell and he has been though hell so fast forward to this week we’ve had another camhs assessment the assessor was amazing really listened and was so thorough with the assessment at the end of the assessment he said he doesn’t meet Camhs criteria because he strongly believes that my son is neurodivergent and that he will be sending a letter out saying so and that he will be recommending the school to do the add referral and ehcp (which they’ve so far said I have to do to no avail!)
my question is does that mean he is basically confirming my son has Asd and that the school will have to do as he recommends?

Thank you.
