Aptamil pepti 1

My daughter is 9 weeks old and was born at 35+4
After being in hospital for a week on IV antibiotics and under a lamp and using kendamil ready made bottles we came out and started using kendamil first powdered milk. My baby was ok for a few days but then started straining a lot, arching her back, red in the face, sticking her tongue out loads, crying after every feed and drinking little but very often I went to my GP and they said it was colic and suggested gripe water, infacol or colief after trying all 3 the colief worked the best but only improved a little bit so I went back to my GP that prescribed aptamil pepti 4 after 24 hours she was a lot better she started to look more of a normal skin colour and didn’t cry after her feeds. She developed baby acne but I was told it was one of the side effects (cleared up after 2 weeks)

she continued to have little and often feeds and still strains a lot but she is now pooing every 2/3 days and it is yellow and like a sausage and we have to help her push it out and is unsettled, She still arched her back and sticks her tongue out. We have been on the milk now for 4 weeks and the GP has prescribed infant gaviscone as they think she has reflux as well.
she how doesn’t cry after the feeds we use the gaviscone on but is still straining and struggling with her poos that are coming out like a sausage not hard but not far off.
i feel like she has been through so much and still isn’t right.

has anyone got any advice or had a similar experience?
