Allergies? Or just skin irritation?

So my nearly 2yo DD has had a reaction on her face a couple of times now. First it was with mayonnaise, wherever it touched her face when it was wiped away it was red. By the time the morning came it was gone. This happened a couple of times with mayo and burger sauce. So we figured maybe she was sensitive to the food? We stuck to ketchup and bbq sauce. She loves bbq, and tonight she's had the reaction? Wherever it touched her face/neck she's red. It doesn't seem to bother her, she's not itching it or anything, so now I'm leaning towards it maybe being a skin irritation instead of an allergic reaction? But idk. Any advice on what to look at?

If it is just where the food has touched it is probably just a contact reaction. It might be worth taking a photo before wiping the food off and then you can compare it when/if the rash comes up
You could also try a barrier cream around the face which should reduce the contact reaction.
It probably wouldn't hurt to have a chat with your GP or HV

Yeah it is just where the sauces have been on her face
