DS strange smell

Recently noticed DS has a strange earthy/fish smell (or musk, not sure what the right word to describe it is). He’s overall very clean, bathes or showers once a day, uses shower gel, has a roll deodrant etc. but even still it can still be there sometimes. He does sweat rather easily but I don’t think it’s that. Any ideas?

There's a syndrome you can have, 'fish odour syndrome '. Diet affects it I think.

How old is he?

Oh thank you! Didn’t even know something like this existed. I’ll have to check

This is going to sound really weird. But I would get a stick deodorant like Dove men care. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/266125382

Use it for a week, or your DP. Then give it to your son to use.

The might have been colonised by a weird microbiome. You can share your microbiome by using a deodorant first. That might be enough to balance his out.

I have to do this occasionally. My biome can go funky. DPs is pretty stable so I have to borrow his bacteria every now and then. It is weird!
