Help please toddler not eating tonsillitis

My boy has been unwell now for 7 days been to the hospital 3 times, they told me to syringe dioralyte which I need to literally pin him down to have, I'm worried it's been 3 days syringing food into him he is still refusing food, anyone else experienced this

have you tried ice lollies, cold custard, mashed up jelly?

Are you alternating paracetamol and ibuprofen every 3/4 hours?

As long as he is hydrated don’t worry too much re: food. He will come round in time.
