Headlice?

Can anyone advise if this is Headlice or not? Can’t see anything crawling around, we’ve never had them before and despite google I’m struggling to know what exactly to look for. Thanks in advance!

I can't tell anything from that photo. But, my DD had them for the first time recently. They're bigger than I expected.

I took a photo with my phone, zoomed in, & could clearly see it was a mite with legs.

No I don't think it's a louse. They kind of look like opaque grains of rice with a slightly wonky river of dark red running from top to tail. You can see little legs and they crawl about.

It's pretty satisfying to get one, even if they are gross 😂
