Is this chicken pox?

Hi there,

My 1 year old son has these red bumps come up all over him (started on Sat but have got a lot worse since). They are worst on his legs- but all over his body. We saw the paramedic at the GPs office today who said he thinks it's chicken pox but couldn't give a definitive answer.

He doesn't have any nasty cold like symptoms and is absolutely fine in himself- smiley as ever and doesn't seem bothered by the spots at all.

Those who have experienced chicken pox with little ones- do these look like them? Also does the temperature come at a later stage?

When they first come up they're filled with clear fluid, have any been like that?

Yes I'd say so, you'll know very soon because they spread really rapidly. Hope he's much better very soon.

Thanks so much for responding. They haven't leaked or anything, but look like clear blisters.
