On DS's leg. Not complaining of itching. If not scabies, then what could it be?

Molloscum?
Keratosis Pilaris?

Doesn't scabies usually start in the fingers and wrists? It's horribly itchy anyway.

RealJuggle3 · 10/08/2024 23:18

Thank you. I'm having phantom itches on my fingers, elbow and toes and now can't think of anything else!

Would thrash appear before the itch? Or would I be itchy and spots would follow later?

I did find these weird mites in the garden the other day and one in the house today so i wonder if we do have something going on.

Hey. Just wondering what was the rash in the end?!

RealJuggle3 · 29/08/2024 21:53

@rodarrrach I still don't know! But not bites nor scabies as it hasn't changed at all since nor spread. We thought perhaps from the courgette leaves in the garden so they're almost like little needles/splinters that will eventually go when the body rejects them but I am not sure!

Have you been to the doctor or pharmacist?

You should get it checked to prevent spreading it.

Piney15 · 18/10/2024 22:32

100! Did you get it confirmed?

RealJuggle3 · 18/10/2024 22:43

Nope, not scabies at all. It faded veeeeery slowly over time. Never got red or itchy and never spread. Still going with the courgette leave theory.

That's really interesting! My toddlers have had scabies before and it looked just like this!! Sometimes it would 'settle' down and look like it had dissapered but was visible under certain lighting etc. Glad it has gone now for your little one

RealJuggle3 · 18/10/2024 22:53

Thank you I was so glad too! My DC tend to get so many weird skin spots and rashes every summer I rack my brain trying to figure them out! Then they are fine the rest of the year!
