Petechiae on toddler? Photos attached

Hello,

This mark has appeared on the back of my toddlers arm, it's not a scratch it seems to be under the skin
Also seems to have some dots on her back, sorry the photo isn't the best quality!
I'm probably overthinking but it just seems strange how the mark has appeared I've noticed it today when getting her changed

She's okay in herself, no temp, a little bit wingey and tired but that's not massively unusual for her.
Has anyone had anything similar? Is it normal?

I'm thinking is it from picking her up but surely that wouldn't happen so easily?

This looks like a pinch to me, it breaks the blood vessels under the skin causing this kind of mark.

As your DC isn't poorly I wouldn't worry too much however i would keep a close eye and if more appear then get them checked by a doctor.

@fatisnotafeeling thank you for replying.
I thought something similar and I'm overthinking about how it's happened as I'm with her I would say 98% of the time and can't think of anything that's happened that would have caused it 😕 I've asked the two other people that are with her when I'm not and they said they don't know either it just seems a little strange to me

No, looks like where a bag has pulled her skin. Here is what under skin petechiae looks like, from my son.

@Callimanco hi thank you for replying, that makes sense although she has never worn a bag before she is only 17 months old (15 corrected as she was prem)
Oh goodness, I hope your son is okay!
