Does anyone know what this could be

My 3yo has this mark on her arm. Gp doesn't know what it is and took a photo to send to dermatology. I can't help but worry about the worst

It just looks like a mole to me in the photo, but if the GP doesn’t know what it is that seems odd.

Fortunately worrying moles are vanishing rare in this age group. I think unlikely to be anything, however it stands out on her arm so it should be looked at close up by dermatology. Hopefully they will be able to reassure you and that will be all needed 😊

I just feel so worried especially with the gp being concerned.

It is good the GP is taking it seriously but I wouldn’t worry until you have heard what the dermatologist thinks. GPs have to be cautious and refer lots of things which turn out to be absolutely fine.
