Verruca?

My daughter has this hard lump of skin on the bottom of her big toe. It has been there for a couple of months.

I have moisturised it daily, filed it down but it still isn't budging. Does anybody know if it is a verruca? It doesn't have a black head in it which is why I haven't treated it as one. However, I am starting to wonder if it isn't budging because it needs treatment?

Thank you Grin

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Seems to be getting dryer, despite daily cream.

My ds had one at the moment. I read a tip on mumsnet to put nail Polish on it to starve it of oxygen then it turns black, dies and falls off within a week or so. Ds is currently at the black stage - waiting for it to fall off!

Looks like it to me (12 year old had one recently) but if you show foot or photo to pharmacist they will confirm. It used to need endless applications of Bazuka to treat but now you can buy this other stuff that freezes it off with just one or max two applications.

I'd say verrucca.

Thank you - I guess because it doesn't have the black head I had assumed it must be something else.

Will definitely get to a pharmacist and see if they can advise.

Thanks all!

Could be a little corn, but treatment is similar either way.

Pharmacist says a wart.

Going to start treatment with bazuka and hope it goes quickly.
