Lump in groin

Hi, just looking for some reassurance! I noticed a lump in DD groin around 3 weeks ago, took her to the GP who said it looked liked a swollen lymph node. Was told to return after 2 weeks to see if there was any changes and when I went back, GP said it looked like it hadn’t gotten any smaller. Have been referred to paediatrician but does anyone know what it could be if it isn’t a swollen lymph node? I’m aware it COULD still be the lymph node but I just feel so anxious and worried about my baby. DD is fine otherwise no temperature or night sweats.

I’m hoping it’s nothing 2 worry about! DD is 7 months and only had this for a few weeks but it’s a hard lump. Hoping the paediatricians will have a look at her and not turn away the referral and it doesn’t take too long also!!

Hi sorry, I know I’m about a year late responding, but it was just a swollen lymph node! DD had a blood test and and everything was clear (aside from being anaemic)
