Can yoghurt cause nappy rash?

Hi was wondering if anyone has experience of yoghurt causing nappy rash? My 8 month old has had yoghurt 3 times and each time the next day has had a sore bum. I’ve let it clear up completely before trying yoghurt again so pretty sure that’s the culprit?!

How is he with other cows' milk foods?

@Dilbertian i haven’t noticed any other reaction but it would be much smaller amounts than the yoghurt if that makes a difference?
Also I'm not sure if this is really silly but he’s formula fed so I thought that meant he would be ok with dairy?

Is it the same brand of yoghurt each time?

No 3 different types. I actually put some cheese on his dinner this evening before I knew his bum was sore and now he has a rash so I’m guessing it must be a dairy issue 😢

My dc could all tolerate a certain amount of dairy of certain types, before getting bad reactions. Hard cheese, yogurt, formula: maybe a spot of nappy rash or rough skin; not enough to make the connection, I only realised that these were signs of dairy intolerance once it got bad enough to be diagnosed. Milk on cereal: one would projectile vomit 20mins later, the other would get bleeding nappy rash within a couple of hours.
