DD is 13 months, no temp, eating & drinking, ok in herself except grumpy with teeth & the heat.

Last few weeks she has occasionally done what I can only describe as a long breath in, which sounds high pitched & almost like a donkey/Darth Vader/gasp.. I assumed she was mucking about with new sounds but today I've noticed it a good few times. It's like a loud wheeze, but she is absolutely not struggling for breath, & her breathing is fine.

I'll take her to get checked, but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else when their DC was a similar age?!

Also, not doing this at all when asleep, only when awake.
