Bites or rash?

My LO visits their dad every other weekend and since April has been returning with, what I believe, are bites. They tend to be on areas of skin that are bare at night, like face, neck, hands, wrist.

Dad says it’s not bed bugs or fleas and insists they have done tests and found nothing. Keeps blaming it on the fields they live near and gnats/mosquitos. Says no one else gets any bites except my LO. But LO comes home covered and they are itchy and sore. It’s every time! Any thoughts on what they could be and also how I can prevent them?

The ones in a line, I’m wondering if it’s scabies. Go and show a pharmacist, if it is, the whole household needs to be treated.
